New York, NY – Meek Mill’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, says prosecutors have decided not to pursue felony reckless endangerment charges against the South Philly rapper after he was arrested late Thursday night (August 17). In a video posted by TMZ, Tacopina said he’d “never seen a case like this.”
“A guy literally popped a wheelie for 10 seconds on the street with no one else around,” Tacopina said. “And the police were there. That’s very important. The police were there and they saw it, and they didn’t arrest him. They didn’t even give him a traffic ticket, but somehow the video made it to social media.”
Once police sent the video in for analysis, which his lawyer said they really don’t do, officers decided to track Meek down and arrest him.
